Summer is here!

Today is the first non-school day of summer. We start it out with a great play date. My friend Daisy is bringing over her son while she takes her daughter to the doc. The boys are very excited.

We have soccer games the next two nights, then it's off to Aunt Lilac's! Great Grandma from FL is in town and we are all going to BBQ on Wednesday. N has the day off. It will be our first summer adventure. Very excited to see everyone and have a great time.

Zinnia and I made 5 gallon ziplocs of mini blueberry muffins. We plan to toss them in the freezer and be able to bring them camping. She wants to do applesauce next. I have pumpkin and banana chocolate chip already in the freezer. They should come in handy and be an easy breakfast while away. We discovered our preference will be to pick the small blueberries this summer. They work much better in mini muffins.

Today, I must clean and pack. Tomorrow, same thing. Zinnia's group will be here. We got a new shelf for the girl room. We will move her bed and switch a few things around to put it together. Hopefully she and I can get it done so N can carry it up there today after work.

That's all for now. There are some hungry boys in their room, maybe we will start this summer day off with pancakes!
