Thursday's day of rain

Trees were uprooted in Bay City. Some were on top of houses, others just broken and all over the place. What a storm we had last night. Tonight is the pumpkin festival. The children are invited to decorate a pumpkin anyway they like and submit it to a contest. Each grade is judged. They chose a winner for the grade level and also an over all winner. Tonight we are bringing pumpkins Kit Visto and Clone Trooper Rex. I will post pictures tonight. We started our creations last night and finished this morning. I think we will make a little sign with their names. Free cider donuts, apple cider and a magic show are the planned entertainment. This will be the first festival N is able to join us. Benefits to having Thursdays off. The boys Halloween costumes came in the mail today. We will see what they think of them.
Another great day with Sweet Pea. Her bottom is pretty red. Her mom warned me she may be crabby today. She was to start, but after a morning nap, we were good to go. She was very pleasant and got along great for the rest of the day. I find it surprising she doesn't put more things in her mouth. Guess it's from having a pacifier? She is gentle with paper too. Someone asked if she was Four's little brother today. Granted, she was wearing a pumpkin shirt and jeans, but how could you miss the pink pacifier and pink stroller?
