Keystone Cops

Hard to believe, but they do make the king wear the ring bologna on his head. Cousin Rthie informed me it is a volunteered position.

Today we attended the Yale Bologna Festival. Yale is the Michigan city N's grandparents lived in. His aunt and uncle still live there today and own the local hardware store. We have visited them on a number of occasions. Last year was our first Bologna Festival. I am thrilled we have begun to make this a ritual to our summer. There are many events throughout the weekend. The first we participated in was the Keystone Cops water fight. These cops are locals who created the Keystone group for Bologna Festival. I am not certain if there is more history behind them, but they do put on a good show. Seven and Five went out and got wet, but Three hid under a sale table in front of the store. She was afraid. There were sirens and water everywhere. She was intimidated and didn't participate. A Keystone Cop lady saw us on the side and handed her a icee halfway through the water fight. It was great fun on a hot day.
