Carpet

Have to mention N came to the rescue with carpet before the cousins arrival. We decided to get rugs instead of a carpet remnant. This way we can roll them up when the rain comes. We can take them with us when we move. The kids were thrilled. They have not been able to play in the basement since the 21st of June.

Menards had a great price, but wouldn't you know we wound up with the lightest colored carpet they have. There weren't three pieces of darker colors. I wanted to try to get them to match. It actually brightened up the basement with such a light color on the floor. They do not eat down there and also do not wear shoes. I think they will stay clean for the most part. I'll just have to haul the vacuum down more than before.
