Today, N will go to work. We've been invited to a BBQ. No parades, but maybe we can make our own races. : ) Happy Independence Day America!

Independence Day
Today is the 4th of July. My best summer memories are from parades near my grandparents. We would travel to their small town and enter in potato sack races. We would run into a family from our town with girls our age. We paired up with those girls for the races. There would always be great food and happy people. A highlight would be the parade. We loved the parade and got to be in it once. As I grew, our plans sometime would change. Regardless, I still have those memories of early 4th of July celebrations.
