To the love of my life, I wish all the best this Easter Sunday. Can't believe another year has past. We've celebrated so many birthdays together. As they do change over the years, the kids keep them exciting. Birthday preparation yesterday was really sweet.
The younger two kept asking how to spell things to write on their cards. Four said "Dad is going to be so happy with us tomorrow!" "We aren't going to whine or complain, nothing!" "We are going to be the best!" Six made a card look like the laptop. He wrote "Netflix" and then "cool" with arrows to the word Netflix. Seven wrote a letter and lined each of the sentences.
N had enjoyed the many cards he's received in the mail. Four loves to get the mail and see what card is there. The cards for N have ranged from sweet and masculine, to hilarious. The best probably came from my great aunt. It was of a mans face, just showing the mouth. The teeth were gold and spelled out Happy Birthday. Boy did that card give N a chuckle!
The plan is for him to work, us to attend mass. After mass, we will bring a lemon cake to the tower. Kids are very excited. Should be a great day!
