Dilly bars all around, and a little nature too

Uncle DV found this baby snapping turtle at the park next to the river. Boy was he a big hit! And I mean the turtle, of course Uncle DV was a big hit too since he found him.

We've been doing so much lately, it's hard to believe we fit it all into one day. Today was a busy one. Not only did we see Great Aunt B and Great Grandma, we also played with friends at the park. When we had been to see Baby Orchid, Uncle T went and got dilly bars for everyone. My kids had never had dilly bars. He brought all chocolate, except a red for Auntie Orchid. When the children learned there were different flavors, they were interested in sampling them all some day. Thus, today, we decided they needed to be a part of our date with friends at the park.
First butterscotch dilly bar!
A bald eagle flew by. He was being chased by two crows. The crows made lots of noise. This was the best picture I got. I had to zoom as far as I could and then try to catch the bird on camera. It was difficult because the bird was moving so fast.
