St. Nikolaus Tag

Happy to report I succeeded in passing along St. Nikolaus to the kindergarten and first grade classes in town. They really seemed to enjoy all the information I passed along. They were thrilled with the plates we decorated and showed much interest in seeing the process of cracking open a nut. We saw almonds, walnuts, Brazilian nuts and peanuts. We topped it off with small slices of bread and Nutella. They enjoyed the German Christmas music and even recognized O Tannebaum. The teacher want to do it again with other German things. Guess I will get to work after Christmas. It was fun, but I am tired. These people are full of energy. Reading time for now and to bed soon.
